Here is a recap of what we did today!
ELA 10- I love the things we get to study in this class!
We started the day with a writing activity...
Then, we discussed some scenarios depicting human rights dilemmas.
After our discussion we did a viewing activity where we watched the following video on the history of human rights.
To show you understood what you were seeing, you answered the following question: "Who is responsibile for ensuring that human rights are upheld, 'universally."
History 30- Canadian Studies, my fave!
We learned the 3 theories as to the origins of the original inhabitants of North America...1) Creation stories 2) Beringia/Clovis/Bering Strait/Land-bridge theory
3) Ocean Migration/Asian origins/Boat theory
We listened to a podcast about different theories and challenges to the theories.
You then read and began to illustrate a telling of the Cree Creation Story.
History 10-
We discussed society and the structures that exist within society that promote order and structure.
ELA 30-
