ELA 7- Voices of the Past

During this unit, we will be examining voices of the past (and present!) to explore what impact the Residential School system has had on First Nations and non-First Nations people. We will begin creating connections between history and the present to hopefully understand how important it is to understand that what has happened before us shapes how we live our lives today.
