ELA 7- Voices of the Past
During this unit, we will be examining voices of the past (and present!) to explore what impact the Residential School system has had on First Nations and non-First Nations people. We will begin creating connections between history and the present to hopefully understand how important it is to understand that what has happened before us shapes how we live our lives today.
To begin our learning, let's explore this website called "Where are the Children." Please jot down any striking information or questions you may have as you read, view, listen and learn!

Michael Pollan & Deconstructing What We Think We Know About Our Food

He has a ton of knowledge, and from this, he has developed a set of 'food rules' - a set of guidelines which he believes we need to follow to maintain or improve our health.
